My neighbor
She's single...
She lives right across the street.
I can see her house from my living room.
I watched as she got home from work this evening.
I was surprised when she walked across the street and up my driveway.
She knocked on my door...I rushed to open it.
She looks at me, and says, "I just got home, and I am so horny! I have this
strong urge to have a good time, get drunk, and make love all night long!
Are you busy tonight?"
I immediately replied, "Nope, I'm free... I have no plans at all!"
Then she said, "Good! In that case, could you watch my dog?"
MAN...IT'S HELL GETTING OLD!!!

Sunrise
We had a great sunrise this morning. Went out to go ballooning but the wind was to strong. Did get a picture of the sunrise. I really don't like getting up at 5 am it screws the rest of my day up. I guess its my internal clock. I can have 10 hours of sleep & get up at 5 & it still ruins my day. Just can't get use to it.

Pets
Just came home from the Vet. One of our dogs last night came in to eat and was falling down like she was dizzy. I stayed up all night watching her & today she was not any better. Took her in and she had a stroke yesterday.. The Vet says she was dizzy because her eyes were jumping back & forth. She received 4 shots & blood work. He says it can be up to 3 weeks before we know what extent the stroke had. This family of dogs goes back 21 years in our life. The ole man as we starting calling him lived to be 18. One of his off springs lived to be 10 before cancer took him. Katie the mother is 13 & she is the one that had the stroke. Little Bit was the runt of the litter & is still doing fine.
Little Bit
I had just finished up a pet headstone for someone, thinking I dread when the time comes for me losing another one of my dogs.
I have not gotten around to doing a stone for the dogs that have passed of mine. Just don't like thinking about. It's funny how we treat our pets. We have spent almost as much on them as we have my whole life on myself at the doctors. Of course insurance helps me out. I'm thankful that my health has been pretty good, no pill taking yet.

A Little Bit of Railroad History quite interesting
If you were in the market for a watch in1880, would you know where to get one? You would go to a store, right?
Well, of course you could do that, but if you wanted one that was cheaper and
a bit better than most of the store watches, you went to the train station! Sound a bit funny? Well, for about 500 towns across the northern United States, that's where the best watches were found.
Why were the best watches found at the train station? The railroad company wasn't selling the watches, not at all. The telegraph operator was. Most of the time the telegraph operator was located in the railroad station because the telegraph lines followed the railroad tracks from town to town. It was usually the shortest distance and the right-of-ways had already been secured for the rail line.
Most of the station agents were also skilled telegraph operators and that was the primary way that they communicated with the railroad. They would know when trains left the previous station and when they were due at their next station. And it was the telegraph operator who had the watches. As a matter of fact they sold more of them than almost all the stores combined for a period of about 9 years.
This was all arranged by "Richard", who was a telegraph operator himself. He was on duty in the North Redwood, Minnesota train station one day when a load of watches arrived from the east. It was a huge crate of pocket watches. No one ever came to claim them.
So Richard sent a telegram to the manufacturer and asked them what they wanted to do with the watches. The manufacturer didn't want to pay the freight back, so they wired Richard to see if he could sell them. So Richard did. He sent a wire to every agent in the system asking them if they wanted a cheap, but good, pocket watch. He sold the entire case in less than two days and at a handsome profit.
That started it all. He ordered more watches from the watch company and encouraged the telegraph operators to set up a display case in the station offering high quality watches for a cheap price to all the travelers. It worked! It didn't take long for the word to spread and, before long, people other than travelers came to the train station to buy watches.
Richard became so busy that he had to hire a professional watch maker to help him with the orders. That was Alvah. And the rest, as they say, is history.
The business took off and soon expanded to many other lines of dry goods.
Richard and Alvah left the train station and moved their company to Chicago -- and it's still there.
IT'S A LITTLE KNOWN FACT

Happening in the neighbor hood
Just sitting in the computer room & see a white suv pull up across the street. A girl gets out and goes to the house next to the one they where in front of. She's gone a couple of minutes. She comes back & gets in the suv & they back into the driveway of the house she was just at. 4 people jump out and start kicking in the door. I grab my camera and start taking pictures while I'm on the phone with 911.
The dispatcher said I would get in trouble if I shot one. He tells me to stay in my house until the cops arrive.
A tree trimmer pulled up next door to the house they broke into & scared them away a couple of minutes before the cops showed up.
Turns out the suv is stolen & they got away. I did get some photos of 2 of them.
To bad they did not catch them.
Update 4:00 pm
Just found out that the cops have caught 3 of the 4 that broke into the house across the street.
